Dances of Universal Peace

Prescott
Third Saturday of each month, 7 to 9 p.m., Smoki Museum, 147 N. Arizona Ave, Prescott. Open to all, no experience necessary. The Dances bring together sacred phrases, chants, music and simple movement, in a joyous mulitcultural way, to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and others. Dance with the Beloved with Murshid Allaudin Ottinger

May 14 - 16 we will be hosting a weekend retreat "Dance with the Beloved," with Sufi teacher and master musician Murshid Allaudin Ottinger. Friday evening, May 14, you are welcome to join us for Dances of Universal Peace and an introduction to the weekend. Saturday evening, May 15, will be a special Zikr Dance. Even if you can not attend the daytime program, please join us in the evening if you would like to. $10 is requested for each evening but no one will be turned away due to cost.

Summer Solstice Celebration:
A Picnic and Dance Gathering Under the Stars

On June 19, our regularly scheduled third Saturday Dances of Universal Peace will be a picnic and dance gathering in celebration of the Fall Equinox. We will begin gathering at 4 p.m. at the Groom Creek Schoolhouse. Go to the Local and State Activities page for more information or call Sheikh Yaqin at (928) 445-6506.

We ask a $10 per person donation for this special gathering,
but all are welcome regardless of ability to pay

Second and last Saturday of each month, 7 to 9 pm. Open to all.
